Birth Of Words (Coming Soon)

A short stage in the life of poet Mahmoud Darwish, characterized by his forceful poetic, political and cultural development. The story of this stage is narrated through 400 documents, kept in storage for 50 years by one of his friends from the days of his youth. From the rare images between these documents and hand written verses, which grew into poems and then to "diwan" poetry, through letters to and from poet friends, such as Rashid Hussein, through interviews with friends who remained anonymous to the broad audience of the poet, all of them narrate to us surprising and amusing story we do not know. This treasure of documents and unknown friends tells us about a stage in his development which has not been documented, although it is perhaps the most important period in the formation of the poet.
